Bellwether Farm is a place of learning for people of all ages, faiths, communities, and walks of life. Through a range of programs led by our staff and community partners, the farm offers a variety of ways to engage and enrich ourselves.
Our retreat center will be open to host retreats for churches and groups both within the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio and beyond. Throughout the year we will hold retreats for individuals and groups, offering a space of learnings, growth, and rest. Our workshops and lecture series will offer intense engagement with subjects such as ecological sustainability, theology, community building, and social justice. Classes for all ages will be offered by staff and our partners on a variety of subjects and interests. We wish to engage communities outside of our direct vicinity through field trips and offer programming for groups that want to visit our Farm, learning about farming and sustainability.
In addition to our workshops and retreats, we offer special programming and field trips for those who wish to visit the farm.
Pick Your Own Day
Come visit Bellwether Farm on August 1st between 9am and 3pm to participate in this year's first "Pick your Own" day. The current harvest includes: Swiss chard, kale, collard greens, tomatoes, garlic, carrots, squash, beets, and basil. Some vegetables are more limited than others. At this time, we are only offering six (6) time slots
to ensure the safety of both the family and Bellwether staff. Each slot will be limited to 45 minutes and only one family will be on the property at the time.
We ask that participants consider making a donation in exchange for the produce, as well as bring their own reusable bags. We will also have Bellwether pork, chicken, eggs, and 2020 Maple Syrup available for purchase, as well as Bellwether merchandise. Claim your spot today!
