What would I be doing?
Counselors will perform numerous tasks but most importantly they will help campers explore and engage in a farm camp program. This includes learning about the farm, cooking, swimming, archery, field games, interacting with the farm animals, and much more. The goal of the counselor is to make sure that each camper has a fun, safe camp experience.
How old do I have to be?
18+ years old by June 1,
Would I get paid?
Absolutely! You’ll also get room and board for the entire 7 weeks of employment. You’ll also become certified in first aid & CPR, and life guarding through the American Red Cross.
How much time do I get off?
You’ll get at least 2 hours every day that campers are at camp. You will also get Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening off.
Where is Bellwether Farm?
Bellwether is located about 10 miles West of Oberlin in the small town of Wakeman. With over 130 beautiful acres, we are a perfect site for summer camp.
What else do I need to know?
Applications are accepted until all positions are filled. Employment starts with 2 weeks of training on June 2
and ends with the last week of camp on July 20.
